2021 Summer

Camp Dates

We will post the dates for our four sessions when they have been finalized.

Information for Parents

We want you to be prepared! Here are some useful links to help you get ready for camp:

  1. New Sermon – A sermon will be chosen specifically for your son (which he needs to memorize before coming to camp). We have done our best to choose a sermon that is suited to his personality and ability. You can work with your son to make minor adjustments to the wording, if you’d like. Most scripture quotations are in NIV or KJV, but feel free to use your son’s preferred translation instead. The sermon will be included in the confirmation email.
  2. For Returning Boys – We have lots of Gospel Teams slated for this summer, so your son needs to be ready with his platform material when he arrives at camp! A list of what he has had ok’d in previous summers is included in the confirmation email. You can find copies of your previous material in the Platform Library. Your son can challenge himself by also memorizing a chapter of scripture before camp.
  3. Packing – Review the packing tips to see what to pack for your son’s stay and how to deposit spending money on arrival.
  4. Directions – Check our driving directions to camp. If you plan on staying in the area overnight, you can check our list of local hotels.
  5. Saturday Afternoon Program – In past years, we held our Saturday Evening Program on Saturday evenings at 7pm. Beginning in 2021, we will hold the program on Saturday afternoons at 3pm, which will run for about 75 minutes. We hope that this change will make it easier for families to stay for the program, see their son in the program, and still have time to drive home afterwards. We strongly encourage boys and their families to stay for the Saturday Afternoon Program on their final day before heading home.
  6. Timing – When dropping off or picking up your son, please arrive at camp between 1pm and 5pm. If your travel plans permit, please arrange your trip so that you will be able to enjoy the Saturday Afternoon Program with us at 3pm. You are welcome to join us for lunch at 1pm or dinner at 6pm.
  7. Coming from Canada? – Canadian citizens 16+ must have a passport, NEXUS card, or enhanced driver’s license when crossing the border. Canadian citizens under 16 can cross with a birth certificate, passport, or NEXUS card. Please see CBP’s border crossing requirements for full details. The border crossings at Buffalo and Niagara Falls are often busy on weekends – crossing earlier in the day will result a shorter wait. Check the CBP’s border wait times before leaving.

Theme Song: Jesus In Me

Original Song Title: Yet Not I But Through Christ In Me
Music and Lyrics: Jonny Robinson, Rich Thompson, and Michael Farren

What gift of grace is Jesus my redeemer
There is no more for heaven now to give
He is my joy, my righteousness, and freedom
My steadfast love, my deep and boundless peace

To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
For my life is wholly bound to his
Oh how strange and divine, I can sing, “all is mine!”
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

The night is dark but I am not forsaken
For by my side, the Savior He will stay
I labor on in weakness and rejoicing
For in my need, His power is displayed

To this I hold, my Shepherd will defend me
Through the deepest valley He will lead
Oh the night has been won, and I shall overcome!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

No fate I dread, I know I am forgiven
The future sure, the price it has been paid
For Jesus bled and suffered for my pardon
And He was raised to overthrow the grave

To this I hold, my sin has been defeated
Jesus now and ever is my plea
Oh the chains are released, I can sing, “I am free!”
Yet not I, but through Christ in me

With every breath I long to follow Jesus
For He has said that He will bring me home
And day by day I know He will renew me
Until I stand with joy before the throne

To this I hold, my hope is only Jesus
All the glory evermore to Him
When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat,
“Yet not I, but through Christ in me!”

When the race is complete, still my lips shall repeat,
“Yet not I, but through Christ in me!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!
Yet not I, but through Christ in me!”
